A 4000-year-old Egyptian tomb in Saqqara necropolis near Gaza city that belonged to a high-ranking official named Mehu has been opened to promote tourism. Mehu, who had titles like Scribe of the Royal Documents, Vizier and Head of Juries, was related to King Pepi, the first king of the 6th dynasty. The tomb, discovered by Egyptologist Zaki Saad in 1940, has two chambers with many inscriptions and drawings.
