DGCA suspends two senior Air Asia executives over "safety violations"

Months after a former Air Asia Pilot Gaurav Taneja through his Youtube channel 'Flying Beast' had raised concerns about the budget airline's landing procedure, the DGCA has suspended two senior executives of AirAsia India for a period of three months over "safety violations". The two suspended executives are Head of Operations Manish Uppal and Head of Flight Safety Mukesh Nema, a DGCA official informed.
