Travelling by air is going to get costlier from April 1 as the Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has increased the air security fee (ASF). The air security fee has been increased by Rs. 40 for domestic passengers and by Rs. 114.38 for international travellers. "The new rates will come into effect on or after April 1, 2021,” the DGCA said. ASF is used to fund security arrangements across the country.
