Departures at Delhi airport halted due to fog, now resumes

All the departures were halted at the Delhi Airport at 7.15 AM for almost 2 hours due to dense fog. The dense fog created poor visibility at the runway for flights to take off. After the fog started to clear, the services were resumed at 9.16 AM. 45 flights were delayed and 5 other flights were diverted. But the arrival of flights was not affected. The level of pollution remained 'severe' for the continuous 4th day.
