Arunachal Pradesh becomes part of UDAN scheme
To make flying affordable to people, Union Civil Aviation Ministry added a new member to its Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme which is Arunachal Pradesh. 3 parties- Arunachal Pradesh, the Civil Aviation Ministry and Airports Authority of India (AAI) has signed MoU in New Delhi today. Service is expected to give a boost to tourism. UDAN scheme was launched on June 15, 2016, to provide regional connectivity.
