Arch of the world’s highest Railway Bridge launched
The main arch of India’s own version of Eiffel Tower, ‘Chenab Bridge’ has been launched by Indian Railways today. It said to be the world's highest bridge with a height of 359 m and also involves the world longest cable crane arrangement. Under Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project launched in 2002, this 1.3-km-long bridge on River Chenab will provide the crucial link between Katra and Banihal.
