Air India announces no extra fee from May 1 on ticket cancellation

Air India has announced that it will not take an extra fee from the customer wanting to cancel their ticket or want to make changes within 24 hours of booking from 1st May. However, this option will be available only if the flight is scheduled at least 7 days after its booking date. A circular issued by Air India's Chairman and Managing Director stated that the look-in option from 1st May will be free of cost.
