After US, SpiceJet gets permission to operate flights to UK

India's budget air carrier SpiceJet has now been designated as the "Indian scheduled carrier" to operate flight services to the UK from India. This comes a day after the company announced that it has been designated as the "Indian scheduled carrier" to operate flight services to the US from India. The permission has been given under the Air Services Agreement between the Government of India and the United Kingdom.
