Aadhaar linked air tickets to be introduced

For the domestic flyers, things are going to be smooth and seamless if they link their tickets with their Aadhaar number at the time of booking. This service will be introduced to Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Vijayawada in 2019. After that govt will implement this to the other airports as well. The biometrics from the Aadhaar database will verify the identity of the passengers easily and check-in will also become easier.
