Youtube to remove insult videos based on race, gender expression or sexual orientation

Youtube received a lot of flak 6 months ago for refusing to take down videos from a conservative commentator who repeatedly lobbed racist slurs at a journalist. The video streaming platform is now taking a "stronger stance" against threats and personal attacks. Youtube announced on Wednesday that it will remove videos that insult people based on "protected attributes" such as race, gender expression or sexual orientation.
