WHO recommended alcohol-based disinfectants are effective against coronavirus: Study

The international research team confirmed that alcohol-based hand disinfectants recommended by the WHO are effective against the coronavirus. The team shows Sars-Cov-2 viruses for 30 secs to the WHO-recommended disinfectant formulations. They tested the virus in cell culture assays & analysed how many virus remained infections. WHO urges using chemicals like sodium hypochlorite, chlorine, bleach solutions for disinfecting surfaces.
