UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is likely to give a green signal to a restricted role for Huawei in Britain’s 5G network. It will be a new cap on the market share the Chinese telecom company can enjoy in UK. Johnson is under tremendous pressure from US to ban Huawei from the entire network. US has repeatedly claimed the Chinese company poses a security risk and even threatens to expose UK-US intelligence sharing.
