Twitter to sue Indian government, to allege abuse of power by officials: Report

Twitter has complied with the IT Ministry's last notice within the final July 4 deadline, after receiving a warning to either comply with new IT Rules, 2021 or face stricter action. However, the social media giant is seeking to overturn some Indian government orders to take down content, a source familiar with the matter said, in a legal challenge which alleges abuse of power by officials, according to Reuters.
