Tesla raises cost of 'self-driving' cars

Tesla has increased the price of its ‘self-driving’ version of electric vehicles starting with a $1,000 hike. Elon Musk tweeted that the price will continue to rise as the technology improves. But he assured the technology will be worth more than $100,000. Tesla's ‘full self-driving’ (FSD) option is best known as Autopilot, although it isn't fully autonomous. New self-driving option will cost $8,000 from July 1.
