Tesla Autopilot distracts driver, causes fatal crash

Tesla’s partially automated driving system drove an electric SUV into a barrier in Washington freeway as it was operating under circumstances it couldn’t handle. Also, the driver might have been distracted while playing a game on his smartphone. Tesla has now been advised to install safeguards to stop its automated driving system from operating when it can’t navigate and design a more effective system for the driver.
