Take a look at India's first engine-less train

Train 18 has hit the track for trial runs and this is going to be India's first engine-less train. Train 18 prototype took 18 months and Rs 100 cr to be built. This is a 16-coach train and is also the successor of the Shatabdi Express. Compared to Shatabdi it will take 15% less travel time and has some enhanced features for quick acceleration. It is fully ac and passengers will have a clear view of the driver's cabin.
