Scientists try to picture Earth after 500 years

Technology, according to scientists, will undoubtedly advance during the next 500 years. However, technological solutions have not scaled up quickly enough to address climate change. As a result, the Earth may be unrecognisable in 500 years. Or, if humans are ready to change their ways, it may survive for many more millennia with its rich woods, oceans, farms, and cities, as well as its most successful occupants, humanity.
