As per a study published, scientists have developed an experimental diagnostic test for COVID-19 which can visually detect the presence of coronavirus in just 10 mins. This test uses a simple assay containing gold nanoparticles to detect a change in colour when the virus is present. This promising test detects the virus's RNA material as early as the first day of infection. But more study is needed to validate it.
