Cornell University scientists have designed robots that 'sweat' like humans during demanding tasks to prevent overheating. More demanding tasks mean it generates more heat as by-product and this heat could cause the robot to malfunction if it doesn't cool down. Now, scientists have developed a technique that makes machines to 'sweat' off cooling liquid stored around the material that moves and controls the system.
