Russian scientists who were tracking migrating eagles through gps ran out of money as their whole budget was consumed by an eagle named 'Min'. Min flew from Kazakhstan to Iran, covering almost 48,000 km. The bird sent all the accumulated summer messages from Iran as it was out of range while being in Kazakhstan. As a result, the whole tracking budget was consumed and the scientists had to start crowdfunding on social media.
