Researchers develop kit that can give Covid-19 test results in 50 minutes

A group of researchers from UK have developed a smartphone based coronavirus testing kit that they claim, can give test results within 50 minutes. The current test procedures take 24 to 48 hours as they are required to be sent to labs unlike this newly developed portable kit. The kit can be vital in countering the outbreak as it can save a lot of time in testing of the coronavirus affected patients.
