Reports: Google fires staff in media leak crackdown

Google has reportedly sacked an employee in relation to an alleged information leak to the media. Two others involved have been placed on leave. One of the suspended employees had accessed restricted documents, while the other had been tracking staff calendars. One of the employees placed on leave tried to access documents on a Chrome browser extension which employees think was being used to monitor them.
