Reddit pulls back 'chatrooms' within a day of launch

Yesterday, Reddit surprised the world by launching a 'chatroom' feature for some 16,000 subreddits. The goal of the capability, according to the company, was to help people sharing interests connect and converse in randomized group chats. Now, just a day after the launch, the communication tool has been pulled back from the discussion service, in its entirety.Idea was to give people a new way to connect, said company.
