Planet Mercury is closest to the Sun and its daytime temperatures can go up to 430°Celsius. Surprisingly, the planet still has ice. The ice is not on the surface, but it was found in specific regions at the poles of Mercury that never receives sunlight. such regions are called 'permanently shadowed regions or PSRs'. It is said that the ice is brought to a planet usually by asteroids, comets that crash on its surface.
