Overtaking Marcedes-Benz, Tesla became most followed car brand on Twitter

15-years-old electric car brand Tesla has surpassed 115-years-old luxury car manufacturer Marcedes-Benz on Twitter to become the globally most followed car brand on Twitter. Earlier Marcedes-Benz owned the top spot with 3,029,779 followers on Twitter. Elon Musk-led Tesla now has surpassed Marcedes with 3,030,485 followers at present. Tesla founder Elon Musks personal account also has 23 million followers.
