Over 600 Ocean Divers set Guinness World Records for Largest Ocean Cleanup in History, Florida

More than 600 ocean divers gathered on a Florida beach to break the world record for the largest underwater cleanup. A total of 633 divers entered the water between 9 & 11 am. The clean up is an annual event organised by the Dixie Divers & Deerfield Beach Women's Club. About 9000 items of marine debris, 3200 pounds of fishing gear was retrieved. Last world record was set in 2015 with 614 divers cleaning up the Red Sea.
