Nvidia to launch two more Shield TV players

Nvidia is working on two new Shield TV players powered by Tegra X1+ chipset which Nvidia claims is 25% faster than the X1 chipset used in the original Shield TV. This is the same chipset that the Nintendo Switch operates. It will be released on October 28. Meanwhile, another newcomer Nvidia Shield TV Pro has two USB 3.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). It can also act as a SmartThings hub.
