New cases of coronavirus reported outside China exceeded the number of new cases in China: WHO

WHO reported that more new coronavirus cases have been reported outside China than inside China. The number of new cases in China was 411 whereas that registered outside stood at 427. The WHO said the epidemic peaked on Feb 2 in China & has been declining since. WHO chief Dr Tedros said the sudden increase of cases in Iran, Italy & South Korea was deeply concerning. He said all countries must prepare for a potential pandemic.
