Now Chandrayaan-2 finds presence of water molecules on moon

According to data obtained from the moon mission, ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 has detected the presence of water molecules on the moon. A paper co-authored by A S Kirankumar, former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman, said imaging infrared spectrometre (IIRS) is one of the payloads on-board Chandrayaan-2, which is placed in a 100 km polar orbit to acquire global scientific data.
