NASA's new mission to study solar particle storms

NASA has announced a new research mission that will see a group of small satellites sent into the orbit to analyze the mysterious behind solar particle storms. The Sun Radio Interferometer Space Experiment (SunRISE) mission will cost $62.6million and is scheduled to launch on July 1, 2023. The mission will be headed by Justin Kasper from University of Michigan and carried out by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
