NASA’s InSight lander reveal Mars as seismically active

NASA’s quake-hunting Insight Mars lander has sent its first official science results and it has revealed that Mars is a seismically active planet. Martian seismicity falls between that of Earth and the Moon. The stationary lander carries two main science instruments to do this work. InSight’s observation will help the scientists to better understand Moon, Venus and Earth and how the rocky planets have evolved with time.
