American agency NASA unveiled its first electric airplane X-57 'Maxwell', that was under development since 2015, on Friday. It has been adapted from Italy's Tecnam P2006T twin-engine propeller plane. The plane has been powered with the two largest of 14 electric motors. 'Maxwell' is expected to fly in the skies over Edward Air Force Base by 2020. It will be the first crewed X-plane of the American agency.
