The agency has chosen two new robotic missions to study Venus's torrid hell-world. The two missions, DAVINCI+ and VERITAS, were among four competing ideas in NASA's Discovery Program's most recent phase. The first mission, DAVINCI+, is scheduled to launch in 2029, followed by the second mission, VERITAS, in 2028. Their goal is to investigate the possibility that the planet was previously habitable and life existed on Venus.
