Multi-functional nanofiber can be used to protect from explosions!

Explosions have caused maximum number of American casualties. Even though the soldiers wear bullet-proof vests, much of their body remains exposed, making them vulnerable to the explosions. A team of researchers in Harvard in association with the US army, have developed a lightweight, multifunctional nanofiber material that can protect the wearers from extreme temperatures as well as the ballistic threats.
