Mozilla CEO blames India’s data protection laws for harming its citizens

Mitchell Baker, the CEO of Mozilla has said that India’s lack of data protection bill is causing harm to its citizens. She said that the country’s data protection bill has been stuck in draft mode for months and that has increased the risk for the average users and their personal data. Even though in 2017, India’s Apex court said that privacy is a fundamental right, but that has led to many arguments.
