Scientists from MIT and elsewhere have discovered an earth-sized planet that is orbiting its star every 3.14 days. The recently discovered planet "pi Earth" has been given the name because it follows the universal mathematics constant for a complete revolution around its star. The scientists have labelled the planet K2-315b and it has a radius 0.95 times that of Earth’s. However, it is not a habitable planet.
