Mission Gaganyaan likely to be launched by 2022-end or early 2023, says Jitendra Singh

Union minister Jitendra Singh said the ambitious Gaganyaan mission of ISRO is likely to be launched by the end of 2022 or early 2023. The mission that was originally scheduled to be launched by 2022, was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The minister said this while addressing a webinar on ‘Future of India-Oceania Space Technology Partnerships’. He also highlighted the importance of private players in the sector.
