Microsoft spends 4 times more to promote Surface compared to Apple’s iPad

According to a report, Microsoft is one of the biggest tech spenders on advertising and it spends 4 times more to promote surface than what Apple spent on iPad promotions. Microsoft released 23 ads spots which played over 15,000 times, generating 9.06 billion impressions last year while Apple ran only 3 ads for the year, one in English and 2 others in English and Spanish that generated a total of 1.18 billion impressions.
