Six years and three days after the beginning of the ambitious mission, Japanese spacecraft Hayabusa2 is set to bring home the fragments of asteroid Ryugu. It is an unmanned craft that will release the capsule from a height of about 220,000km. “We are hoping to find clues to the origin of life on Earth by analysing details of the organic materials brought back by Hayabusa2," Makoto Yoshikawa, a Hayabusa2 project manager said.
