Japan plans to launch Bullet train service in 5 more Indian cities

After the much speculated Mumbai- Ahmadabad bullet train, Japan is interested in launching bullet train services in 5 more cities including Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru. However, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train that will cover a corridor of 505 km might get delayed till 2023, due to issues related to land acquisition. Bullet trains helped Japan's economy, and it might do the same for India.
