Jack Dorsey, former Twitter CEO, building open Bitcoin mining system amid climate threats

Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has announced he is building an open and fully decentralised Bitcoin mining system, at a time when crypto mining has raised serious energy consumption and mega e-waste generation concerns. In his latest tweet, Dorsey, who renamed his financial services company Square to Block in December last year, said: "We're officially building an open bitcoin mining system".
