Jack Dorsey announced his plans to decentralize Twitter

Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted a series of tweets yesterday about his intention to make the micro-blogging platform a decentralized one. He is funding an independent team of 5 open source architects, engineers and designers to develop an open and decentralized standard for social media. The team is going to be called the “Blue sky” and it will be led by the CTO of the company Parag Agrawal.
