PSLV's 50th Mission: ISRO launches RISAT-2BR1 and 9 customer satellites by PSLV-C48

The Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) launched RISAT-2BR1 and 9 customer satellites by PSLV-C48 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 3:25 pm Wednesday. This was PSLV's 50th flight. The primary satellite, RISAT-2BR1 -- is a radar earth observation satellite with a capability of capturing images at 0.35m resolution. The payload includes nine other satellites from the US, Japan, Israel and Italy.
