India's Astrosatcompletes 5 years of mapping stars, Galaxies in Space

Astrosat, India's first multi-wavelength astronomical observatory, on Monday completed five years of imaging celestial objects in space. Launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on September 28 2015, in the five years of its operation Astrosat has achieved quite a feat. It has carried out 1,166 observations of 800 unique celestial sources proposed by scientists both from India and abroad, DSTsaid.
