Indian student satellite RamanSat 2 launched by NASA

RamanSat 2 is a miniature satellite that was made by a 17-year old student Aabhaas Sikka during his internship with SPACE-India. RamanSat2 has been successfully launched by NASA's Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility in New Mexico, the USA on Monday night. It had achieved an altitude of 38km. The satellite is carrying state-of-the-art equipment to measure the radiation from the Sun and space to make space exploration safer.
