India leads the world for Twitter user data requests in second half of 2020

India was the single largest source of account and other user information requests for Twitter in the second half of 2020 (H2 2020), according to the Twitter Transparency Report, a biannual report on the state of government requests and other law enforcement inquiries about Twitter users and posts. India accounted for 25% of the global volume and 15% of the global accounts.
