Google spends Rs 7,500 crore to buy new office in London

Google has bought a central London building for $1 billion (roughly Rs 7500 crore) in a show of confidence in the future of the office as a place to work, the tech giant said on Friday, January 14. Google has spent $1 billion on the building where it is currently a tenant. The tech giant currently employs 6,400 people in Britain. Google is planning a refurbishment of its offices that will cost multi-million pounds.
