Google’s Pixel phones have been powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors since the first-generation Pixels in 2016. However, speculation is rife that Google is now working with Samsung for a chipset to power Pixel phones as earliest as next year. The chipset is codenamed Whitechapel and could eventually be used in Chromebooks. As per media reports, Google already has the first working versions of the processor.
