Google bans a Chinese app developer DO Global from its play store & is also removing dozens of its apps after finding that the developer committed ad fraud & abused user permissions. DO Global, partly owned by Baidu, was found to be producing fake ad clicks to gain revenue even when the app was not in use. Google said they take responsibility to protect users & advertisers seriously; it is yet to confirm the ban officially.
