The users sued Facebook before 2018 because of its data breach activity. The users claimed that they were not warned regarding single sign on connects which used fb credentials. One major fiasco was when hackers stole login codes - or “access tokens” which allowed them to access nearly 29 million accounts. Fb was not at all safe as attackers would see posts and lists of friends and groups of about 400,000 users
